The Rolling Stones have premiered their new single titled Doom and Gloom via BBC Radio 2, and have now officially released it online. It will also be premiering on Australian radio tomorrow morning on Triple M Breakfast at 8:15am. Of course the Internet doesn’t follow time restrictions, and it can already be heard via the lyric video released below.
Doom and Gloom marks the first time that Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood have been in the studio together for seven years. Taken from their forthcoming ‘best of’ album GRRR!, which will boast 50 tracks that span across the Stones’ entire career. The Australian release is due on 9th November. You can pre-order it now and get a free download of the new single.
There will also be a special deluxe box set edition with over 80 songs on offer. All GRRR! formats will feature a striking painting by award-winning American artist Walton Ford, who has created the latest in a long line of iconic artwork that has always been part of the band’s DNA.
