Melbourne clique World’s End Press have begun to emerge from their recent studio time in the UK, and have been hard at it piecing together their long-awaited debut full-length album. While Deadbeat Sweetheart doesn’t bear the title of ‘official single’, it shows all the right signs that we can expect something fairly dope.
Labelled by the band as merely “a taste” of what went down during their time with DFA co-founder Tim Goldsworthy, their first LP has been a long time coming, having solidified a solid fanbase with their relentless gigging. There doesn’t seem to be a name locked in for the album yet, further adding to the intrigue.
Coming in at almost 7-minutes, it’s somewhat of an epic, which is a strong indication that there are big things to come.
