Meg Mac has announced the release of her debut EP, MEGMAC, slated to drop Friday, 12th September. To celebrate, the talented young Melburnian has announced she will embark on a string of intimate shows this September, hitting up Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, and Adelaide.
The 23-year-old singer-songwriter has also just unveiled the video for her new single, Roll Up Your Sleeves, capitalising on the momentum surrounding the track since its launch just two weeks ago. The clip, which you can view below, was shot in a single one-shot take in elegant black and white.
“I wanted the video to have nothing getting in the way of me and you, the people watching,” said Meg. “No frills, just me and the song.” What more could you need? Meg’s simple song landed immediately in the HypeMachine Top 20 and received acclaim from multiple taste-making outlets.
Meg will launch her debut EP on Friday, 12th September with a performance at the Newtown Social Club, before embarking on the rest of her national tour. All dates will be supported by sunny Perth four-piece Rainy Day Women. Readers can check below for all dates, venues, and ticketing details.

UPDATE 02/09/14: Meg Mac will also play at The Telstra Spiegeltent on Sunday, 21st September as part of the upcoming Brisbane Festival, following the cancellation of Seattle singer-songwriter Damien Jurado’s Australian tour.
