What So Not And George Maple Have Teamed-Up Again For Another Epic, ‘Buried’

Aussie artists What So Not and George Maple have dropped a dark, electronic cut featuring Atlanta rapper Rome Fortune.

Buried follows a string of collaborations between What So Not and Maple including Gemini and Ghost, Tkay Maidza’s track which they both featured on.

The track was written by the trio and produced by What So Not and THC who has worked on Drake and Kendrick Lamar records. It was premiered earlier in the week in front of a packed-out crowd at Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas with both Maple and Fortune jumping up on stage with What So Not.

In a joint statement about the song they wrote, “We’re all guilty of our vices. Whether a flickering thought or a lifestyle, our obsession with fame, money, sex & power drives a paradox of wonderful & horrible behavior.”

The track has been released alongside a pretty impressive visual which features them immersed under water. The pair wanted the video to “capture a sense of struggle and turmoil.”

It’s the second track What So Not has released this year following Lone with GANZ and Joy. It also comes ahead of a national tour with A-Trak that is due to kick off at the end of this month. Rome Fortune will be joining them as the support act.

It’s also George Maple’s second track this year after she unleashed Sticks & Horses earlier in the year. She’s due to head out on her biggest national tour to date next month.
