PREMIERE: FIDLAR Debut ‘Awkward’ Live Video Shot In Sydney

Written by James Arnold-Garvey on September 2, 2013

FIDLAR have just exited our shores after tearing up stages left, right and centre with their appearances at Splendour In The Grass and their own headlining shows. While in the country the Cali lads had the brilliant idea of shooting a live video clip for new single Awkward, and we’ve got the exclusive premiere of said footage right here on Music Feeds!

If you didn’t catch FIDLAR while they were in town, this clip is going to make you hate yourself in new and exciting ways. Shot by The Grindhouse at the band’s headlining show at the Oxford Art Factory on Wednesday, 31st July, the video for Awkward does a damn fine job of showing you just how much awesome is packed into one FIDLAR show.

The FID kids have a solid rep for brilliant vids, dropping the Nick Offerman-starring clip for Cocaine just last month, and coupled with the way their tour was received it was almost a given that a live clip featuring Aussie audiences would see the light of day.

Awkward is FIDLAR’s latest single to be released in Australia and you can’t find it on their self-titled album – so if you wanna pick it up for yourself, you’re going to wanna get yourself over to iTunes to download your own copy. In the meantime, check out the moshtastic, crowdsurferrific footage from their OAF show below.
