Rage Against The Machine Seeking All Fan Memories From 1992

Written by Mike Hohnen on August 27, 2012

I’m sure many of you are now thinking back to yesteryear, to see what you can actually remember from 1992. I was about two years old so lots of Bananas in Pajamas comes to mind, but it’s starting to appear like Rage Against The Machine have something cooking in anticipation of their big 20 year anniversary, reaching out to the fans to help build their newly created Tumblr.

The call to arms came out in a tweet fired off from Tom Morello’s account, asking all and any fans to send in images of memorabilia, photos, and any form of RATM paraphernalia to the Tumblr account, or through to the Twitter account.

The photos that fans send in have to be in some way correlated to the 1992 self-titled debut album the band released. Already some pretty cool snaps have been uploaded and fans everywhere are gearing up for some big news: could it be an album? a tour? Like a tour would be cool, but c’mon, a new Rage album would be out of control…

Anyway, there is no word yet from the band as to just what they’re scheming, but feel free to shoot through any of your precious 1992 RATM memories for others to obsess over also. Stay tuned for big things, given the current insurgence of reformed 90’s bands; it’s only a matter of time.
