Offspring, Marilyn Manson and Evanescence are a few new names being thrown in for the Soundwave 2012 line-up, which will be announced this Friday night.

Herald Sun reporter Nui Te Koha has revealed the names on Triple M Hot Breakfast this morning, saying “Soundwave 2012 get ready for Offspring, get ready for Marilyn Manson and get ready for Evanescence!”, as well as claiming that they won’t even be the headlining acts.
Other bands confirmed for the line-up include Coal Chamber, who will be reforming for the festival, and Mastodon, who confirmed themselves via an interview and are currently touring their new album The Hunter. We’ll also get a special set from Saves The Day, who will play Weezer’s second album Pinkerton live in full.
Bands moved from the Soundwave Revolution line-up include The Used, Hole, Machine Head and Black Veil Brides, Dashboard Confessional and Hellyeah.
