Written by Toby Smith on May 31, 2009

Perth Based – New Zealand Drum n’ Bass DJ/Producer Q-Bik has taken a break from touring the globe and being bunkered in the studio producing, to come and perform at REMEDY. Joining the all star line up from Perth is Dj Missile & local lads Foreigndub. Seeka MC (UK) & Shamik (Beatboxer / Canada) will also be featuring their skills on the mic.

Q-Bik signed to Planet Funk (UK), Basswerk (GER) and Vibez Recordings, has been gaining some serious interest from some key figures in the DnB scene. This followed BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 1XTRA and BBC Radio Asian Network airings of some of his latest works, not to mention gaining heavy club support from the scene’s biggest names across the DnB world, which shows his tunes broad appeal to dj’s and punters across the spectrum and the dance floor.

With crushing basslines and crisp rhythms, Shamik from Vancouver has captivated audiences from nightclubs to outdoor festivals by creating a DJ set with his mouth. He continues to spread the artform of his vocal percussion with an exclusive show in Sydney.

Missile always brings the positive vibe and love of fresh tunes. She continuously pushes the boundaries of bass driven ragga influenced broken beat music. As diverse as she is creative, her performance gives a vibrant energy that lifts the people and brings the fun time party vibes, guaranteed to make you want to join her on the dancefloor.

Mixing up all styles of DnB on the night, starting at 5pm, be sure to get there early and not miss out. It will be a wicked night and it’s FREE!
