Watch Violent Soho’s Epic WACO Tour Mini-Doco

Violent Soho have wrapped up their huge Australian tour, off the back of the release of their massive fourth studio album WACO.

The Brisbane alt-rockers national tour was in the headlines before it even began, with the band standing up for musicians by condeming ticket scalpers who re-sold their tickets onward for huge profits in March this year.

Soho are known for their, ah eccentric personalities, and they gave us a look into their touring life with the recent release of their new video for So Sentimental.

Now we’ve been given a much less scripted doco-style look into what it’s like to be on the road with the band and their support acts DZ Deathrays, Dune Rats and The Gooch Palms.

The video was filmed and edited by Tim O’Keefe at shows and on the road, and features footage of the bands performing, hanging out, giving candid interviews, as well as all the good stuff like rolling spliffs, mooning crowds, smashing booze, and even good-naturedly returning a shoe to a fan who threw it onstage during a set.

The mini-doco also reveals that touring with DZ Deathrays was something that Violent Soho have been meaning to do for many years. There’s even a short schpeil from Will Wagner of The Smith Street Band.

Violent Soho will play Splendour In The Grass in just under two weeks time, as well as new Canberran festival Spilt Milk in December 2016.
