Tom DeLonge Will “Expose New Evidence About UFOs” In Fresh History Channel Doco Series

While Blink-182 are readying the release of their “important” eighth studio album, prodigal son Tom DeLonge is still trying to prove aliens exist.

The unapologetic stargazer has been working on a new documentary series for the HISTORY CHANNEL, which he promises will “expose new evidence about UFOs”.

Dubbed Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation, the six-part series was executive produced by DeLonge and is expected to hit our screens in May.

It’s tipped to feature interviews with leading thinkers in the field of outer space, including DeLonge’s m8 Luis Elizondo, the former head of the US Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (which allegedly investigated the potential for extraterrestrial attacks on Earth).

“With this show, the real conversation can finally begin,” DeLonge says (via NME). “I’m thankful to HISTORY for giving the To The Stars Academy team of world-class scientists, engineers and intelligence experts the opportunity to tell the story in a comprehensive and compelling way.

“I think everyone that watches the show will walk away with questions answered and a feeling of, ‘wow, I get it now’.”

While HISTORY’s Head of Programming, Eli Lehrer, adds: “Tom’s curiosity and passion for this subject matter, combined with his team, are the perfect partners to deliver this breakthrough series.”

Since his 2015 departure (hiatus?) from Blink, DeLonge has been balls-deep in life as an alien hunter, founding his own organisation dedicated to the study of creatures from above dubbed To The Stars Academy Of Arts And Sciences, announcing on a number of books about the subject as well as reportedly working on a sci-fi movie adaptation of his alien-centric series of graphic novels Strange Times, which will apparently be scored entirely with Angels & Airwaves songs.
