Lewis Capaldi Announces Australian Tour Dates For 2020

Scottish crooner and probably one of the funniest musicians on social media (seriously, have a look at old mate’s Twitter would you) Lewis Capaldi has announced he’s coming back to Australia in 2020.

The announcement continues a pretty crash hot run for Capaldi after the release of debut album Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent back in May, which has been smashing the charts for the past five weeks straight.

The ‘Someone You Loved’ singer will touch down in Australia right as the year begins, playing in Sydney and Melbourne on the 2nd and 3rd of January respectively before dipping over to New Zealand. Plenty of time for you to recover from New Year’s celebrations and come get a little weepy-eyed.

At 22 years of age, Capaldi’s doing pretty well for himself, with Divinely Uninspired being certified gold in the UK a week after it dropped, making it the best-selling debut album by a British artist in around eight years, and copping a nomination for the Brit’s Critics Choice award.

General tickets go on sale next Tuesday, 2nd July. You can sign up for pre-sale access here.
