Seemingly out of nowhere, Grimes has given us her first new music in a long time by dropping a new song titled ‘Violence.’ The song, which was written with DJ/producer i_o, has also been given a stunning video.
‘Violence’ is the first new song we’ve had from Grimes since last year’s collaboration with HANA, ‘We Appreciate Power.’ It also might be a taste of Grimes’ upcoming album, Miss_Anthrop0cene, which is apparently supposed to be released later this year.
She had teased the release of a track on Instagram earlier this week. According to NME, the next two singles from the album will be titled ‘So Heavy I Fell Through The Earth’ and ‘4am’ – both titles she teased on Twitter back in May last year.
