Rex Orange County Gets Real On New Track ’10/10′

Rex Orange County has dropped his first new single since ‘New House’ back on Valentine’s Day. The new track is called ’10/10′ and is full of that ROC songwriting charm, lots of honesty and lots of synthy goodness.

’10/10′ is all about struggles and plans to get better, do better, and be better. It has that classic Rex Orange County slow and swaying delivery behind lyrics like: “I had a year that nearly sent me off the edge/ I feel like a five, I can’t pretend/ But if I get my shit together this year/ Maybe I’ll be a ten”.

’10/10′ has come with a supernatural-ish film clip too. Directed by Warren Fu, it sees the artist tinkering on keys and the guitar in a casual day-time sesh, with mates, a doggo, plus some yellow dancing spidermen and a ghost.

We don’t yet know whether ’10/10′ is off of an upcoming release. The good news is though, that Rex Orange County tweeted ‘REX3’ the other day. So, surely a third album is on the cards.
