Dust off your best cowboy boots, throw on an Akubra and get ready to head to Ipswich, because 2020 is going to be the year of country down under thanks to CMC Rocks QLD. The 2020 lineup for Australia’s premiere country music festival was released tonight and trust us when we say, it’s huge.
Led by US superstar Miranda Lambert on her debut Australian visit, the mammoth lineup features headliners Kip Moore and Morgan Evans, alongside an epic 19 international artists and 12 local A-listers.
Among those acts are local legends Leigh Kernagan and Adam Brand and US duo Brothers Osbourne who return by popular demand following their incredible 2018 tour. They are joined by stellar international artists Billy Currington (USA), Jimmie Allen (USA), Jeffrey Steele (USA), Abby Anderson (USA), LANCO (USA), Hardy (USA), Dustin Lynch (USA), Runaway June (USA), Mitchell Tenpenny (USA), Kassi Ashton (USA), Cassadee Pope (USA), Jordan Brooker (USA), Niko Moon (USA), Tim Hicks (CAN) and Kaylie Bell (NZ).
Taking place over five days in 2020 from Wednesday 18 until Sunday 22 March (Wednesday and Thursday are exclusively for campers, mind), CMC Rocks QLD will see thousands head to Willowbank, Ipswich for the biggest and best gathering of country fans Australia’s seen yet.
If you want to be among them, you better have those ticket buying trigger fingers ready, because tickets go on sale Tuesday, 1 October and they won’t last long.
