Sad news for Australian mixers today, as UK girl group sensation Little Mix have announced that they have made the unfortunate decision to cancel their upcoming Australian tour.
In a statement posted to social media, the band said they had to cancel their Australian and New Zealand tour due to the need to record new music.
“We are really sad to announce that we have to cancel our upcoming Australian and New Zealand tour dates,” the band wrote.
“We are so sorry for disappointing our fans who were coming to the shows. This is not a decision we’ve taken lightly but we have to use this time to focus on recording new music.”
They then ushered fans who purchased to tickets to contact their point of purchase for a refund.
The tour was originally slated to happen in July, but it was then postponed to December due to promotion commitments.
