My Chemical Romance Announced A Reunion Show And Our Teenage Selves Are Not OK

The reunion we were told would never come, is finally upon us. My Chemical Romance are performing a reunion show in Los Angeles this December.

It’s been a long six years since the band’s last run. Since that time, there has been too many reunion rumours to cope. Hopes have been raised high again and again, just to be let down. But today, it’s real.

Back in 2013, My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way posted a long message to fans, explaining the band was over. He ended the note, saying, “My Chemical Romance is done. But it can never die. It is alive in me, in the guys, and it is alive inside all of you. I always knew that, and I think you did too. Because it is not a band—it is an idea.”

Overnight, they announced the reunion show, the first My Chemical Romance performance since 2012. They’ll be performing at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles on Friday, 20th December.

Show deets are below for anyone lucky enough to be buying plane tickets right now.

As you could imagine, fans are barely coping.
