Willaris. K Will Release Two New EPs Over The Next Few Months

Eclectic producer Willaris. K (AKA Jack McAllister) has announced the release of two new EPs over the coming months.

Lustre will drop first on Friday, 3rd April. It’ll include recent singles like ‘5 O’CLOCK’, ‘PAST LIGHT’, ‘DETACH’ and Gordi collab ‘INDIFFERENT,’ along with a new team-up with Tom Snowdon called ‘GET WITH MY LIGHT’.

Not content with simply one release this year, though, McAllister has announced that its follow-up, Full Noise, will arrive just under two months later on Friday, 29th May.

It apparently sees the New South Wales electronica wiz move firmly into club territory, drawing inspiration from late night sets. There’s collabs galore on this one too, McAllister pairing with Aussie dance legend Paul Mac, American rapper WaveIQ and producer George Nicholas (GN), who you may recall as a founding member of beloved Sydney electronic trio Seekae.

It’s been a big year for McAllister thus far, supporting Rufus Du Sol on their ‘SOLACE’ world tour and playing a bevy of festival sets at the likes of Wildlands, Beyond the Valley and Origin Fields.

If the recent crop of singles from the producer are anything to go by, we’ve got a lot to look forward to. Take ‘DETACH’, released earlier this month, for example. It’s a swerving techno gem that oscillates between blissed out glitch and pulsating synths. You can give it a listen below.
