“Incredible” New Blink-182 Music Is Coming “Really, Really Soon”, Says Travis Barker

Blink-182 beat machine Travis Barker has hit us with an update about the band’s forthcoming material, hyping a brand new song coming our way SOON.

“There’s a song called ‘Quarantine’ that’s gonna come out really, really soon,” Travis told MTV. “It’ll be a Blink favourite. It’ll be like all our fan favourites. It’s incredible.”

The song will feature on the punk rock icons’ forthcoming EP, which is tipped to feature Lil Uzi Vert and Pharrell Williams and drop before the end of Aussie winter (that’s next month for those playing at home!)

The news comes after Goldfinger frontman/top pop-punk producer John Feldmann said earlier this month that Blink have been “getting in touch with their roots” during their latest recording sessions.

“The songs we have been working on have been super classic Blink and I can’t be more excited,” he told RockSound.

But we’re assuming the LP will once again feature super-sub Matt Skiba on guitars and BVs, since the latest word from prodigal son Tom DeLonge is that he’ll “of course” rejoin the band when the time is right.

We’ll bring you more news as it develops. But for now, you can hear what Travis has to say about the new Blink-182 material in the video below.
