Noted Mask Wearer Corey Taylor Tells Fans To “Stop Whining And Put Your God Damn Mask On”

Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor, who has spent his entire career wearing a mask, has told his fans who might be complaining about mandated mask orders to essentially shut the fuck up. Beautiful.

In a new interview with Triple M‘s Brendan Anakin on Hard And Heavy, Taylor spoke about his solo music while also letting Victorians know exactly what they should be doing.

When asked if he had any words of wisdom, as one of the most famous mask wearers in the world, for those who are flouting the mandatory mask rules in Victoria, Taylor said: “Yeah, stop whining and put your god damn mask on.”

“This isn’t an isolated incident,” he continued.

“My country’s loaded with these dumbasses that think this is some sort of political standpoint or some sort of partisan garbage. And I’m just like, ‘Are you serious?’ Just because you haven’t had anyone in your life affected by it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist.”

He later when on to say, “From a very cold standpoint: karma’s a bitch.”

He also made note that one time he had to wear one of his iconic Slipknot masks for eight hours straight while doing press for the band, so essentially…suck it up.

Of course, Taylor was wearing masks before it was cool, like a bunch of other musicians that you can see here.

In non-mask wearing news, Taylor recently released the first two singles – ‘Black Eyes Blue’ and ‘CMFT Must Be Stopped’ – from his forthcoming debut album, CMFT, due out in October.
