Cardi B Has Interviewed Presidential Candidate Joe Biden, Pulls No Punches

While the world still reels in the wake of ‘WAP’, Cardi B is already on to the next thing which is, apparently, holding politicians to account as she has just interviewed Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

The interview, which was co-ordinated via ELLE, shows Cardi come face-to-face (via Zoom) with Biden, who wasn’t her preferred choice to take on Trump (that honour belongs to Bernie Sanders).

Cardi, as always, was blunt and to the point. When Biden asked her what she wanted from the next president, she said, “I have a whole list of things that I want our next president to do for us.

“But first, I just want Trump out.”

The two spent some time condemning Trump, with particular attention to his – shall we say – disastrous handling of the coronavirus pandemic that has made America the worst hit country on the planet.

“It’s so sad that a pandemic had to happen so people could open their eyes and see what type of person they are dealing with,” Cardi said.

Cardi also bluntly spoke to Biden about what she feels Black people in America want.

“I feel like Black people, we’re not asking for sympathy, we’re not asking for charity – we are just asking for equality,” she said.

The interview also explored police brutality, Medicare For All and more. Read the whole thing here.
