The ‘Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World’ Game Is Finally Returning As An Expanded Complete Edition

Ubisoft has announced its beloved 2D side-scroller Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game will receive an expanded reissue for PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia later this year, a decade after it was first released.

Based on Bryan Lee O’Malley’s original graphic novel series and its subsequent film adaption, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game was originally released in 2010 to coincide with the film’s release. However, it was taken off digital marketplaces in 2014, making it inaccessible to gamers who didn’t already own a copy, and has yet to return – until now.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game allows gamers to play as their favourite characters from the film and graphic novel, including Scott Pilgrim and Ramona Flowers.

Inspired by retro beat ’em ups, players battle waves of enemies as they defeat the League of Evil Exes, collecting coins and partaking in mini-games. Up to four players can join either locally or online.

The new Complete edition will include the original game and its DLC, featuring additional characters Knives Chau and Wallace Wells. A firm release date has not yet been announced, but the announce trailer says to expect it during the holiday season.
