Queen’s Brian May Is Selling A Perfume That Smells Like Badgers

If you’ve ever wanted to smell like a badger, then today is your lucky day and you’ve got Queen’s Dr Brian May to thank. The guitar legend has just launched Save Me, a perfume that he claims will make you “smell like the English countryside.”

Named after the Queen song and produced by Xerjoff, as a fundraiser for May’s wildlife protection charity,Save Me Trust, the perfume offers strong hints of ‘pink pepper, jasmine, cyclamen, camomile, tuberose, mimosa, ylang-ylang, gardenia, sandalwood, and musk’, which in theory sounds lovely.

There’s just one tiny problem though. An olfactory worker has told the famed British tabloid The Sun that Save Me smells like…badgers. Yes, badgers. Those adorable little furry English critters that we all like to look at and let out a collective “nawwwww”, but I’m sure very few of us have ever wanted to smell like.

While it is just one knowing nose’s opinion, there is a degree of symmetry to the notion, given Dr Brian May’s great love for the creatures and great fear for their survival.

Whether it smells like badgers or not, Save Me seems like the perfect scent for those under pressure to break free of their current scent. Whether you’re riding your bicycle, or searching for somebody to love, Save Me will rock you, and who knows maybe it’ll even help you find some cute badger friends to sing ‘You’re My Best Friend’ to.

If Save Me sounds like something you’d like to get around, head over to Xerjoff now because much like the badger, numbers are sadly limited.
