Japanese Wallpaper Is Playing A Special Melbourne Show With Loads Of Special Guests

It’s been a while since Japanese Wallpaper – otherwise known as Gab Strum – has played a headline show, but now he’s set to make his return in a big way with a special show in Melbourne in July, with a fuckton of special guests.

We’re talking an entire festival lineup worth of special guests. Allday, George Alice, Washington and Airling will be appearing on stage with him. Gretta Ray, MAY-A and Audition Tape will be supporting him. Mallrat, Alex Lahey and Denim will even be DJing.

This gig will truly be one for the ages. Strum seems to think so as well, writing on social media, “i feel so lucky to be playing at such an iconic venue and with so many special friends in tow.”

The announcement of the show comes just before he’s set to release his new single ‘Leave A Light On’ this Friday, 21st May. It’ll be his first original single of his to be released since he dropped his 2019 album, Glow.

The show will be taking place on Friday, 9th July at iconic Melbourne venue The Forum. Tickets are on sale from 10am Monday, 24th May, with a presale opening from 10am Friday, 21st May.
