PREMIERE: Brisbane Duo Alta Falls Shares ‘Into You’, The 80s Synth Pop Bop Of Your Dreams

Indie pop duo Alta Falls is coming in hot with their new single ‘Into You’. It’s an 80s synth-infused bop of a song that marries dreamy vocals with a menacing beat. It’s an absolute delight.

Music Feeds is so excited to be premiering ‘Into You’ ahead of its official release: next Wednesday, 16th June.

‘Into You’ sees Alta Falls back up their debut single ‘Take Me On Down’. It builds on the sound of the debut, showing greater complexity in its production and an impressive range from Brissy’s new kids on the block.

“The song is about the coming together of two unlikely misfits,” said Alta Falls of the new release. “It’s describing the other-worldly feeling at the start of a relationship where your entire universe closes in and becomes only about that one person.”

“There’s a feeling of anticipation, excitement, and hope, but also a certain level of fear — maybe they don’t feel the same way?”

As well as the new single, Alta Falls have announced their debut EP is on its way.

We’re yet to receive all the deets but they’ve revealed it was produced by Aidan Hogg (Jaguar Jonze, Holy Holy), with Sebastian Jennings Hingston (Tia Gostelow) on drums.

The singles we’ve heard thus far are serving serious Holy Holy meets Methyl Ethel vibes and we’re super excited to see what’s in store for the new EP.

Last month, the band shared a stripped back take on their debut single ‘Take Me On Down’.

You can listen to the new single ‘Into You’ below.

‘Into You’ will be available on Wednesday, 16th June. Pre-save it here.
