Vince Staples Shares New Song ‘Law Of Averages’, Announces New Album

It’s Vince Staples season babyyyy!! His first single since 2019 is here and it’s arrived with a music video AND an album announcement.

The new single is titled, ‘Law Of Averages’. It’s a chill bop that marks the beginning of a new album cycle for Staples.

It arrives with a new, abstract music video

He’s announced the album will be self-titled and arrive next month.

It’s produced by Kenny Beats who’s worked with the likes of Rico Nasty, Denzel Curry, Schoolboy Q, and more.

“It really gives much more information about me that wasn’t out there before,” says Vince Staples on the new album.

“That’s why I went with that title. I feel like I’ve been trying to tell the same story.

“As you go on in life, your point of view changes. This is another take on myself that I might not have had before.”

Staples spoke with GQ Magazine back in April. He shared a few deets about the forthcoming, self-titled album.

He also revealed he’s working on an album titled Ramona Park Broke My Heart but there’s no word just yet on its release date.

The other lil easter egg in the GQ chat? Vince Staples will apparently have his own Netflix show soon.

Huge.

Vince Staples, the album, is due for release Friday, 9th July.

Last week, Staples teamed up with Emotional Oranges on ‘Back and Forth’.

The self-titled album will follow up 2018 album FM! and 2019 single ‘Hell Bound (Ad 01)’.
