Lana Del Rey Teases Snippet Of New Single, Shares ‘Blue Banisters’ Cover Art

Lana Del Rey’s new album Blue Banisters was supposed to land today, Sunday, 4th July. Overnight, Del Rey has announced the album will now be out later and says a new single is on its way.

As a consolation prize, she’s shared a sneak peek of the new single. The snippet begins with very LDR lyrics, “My body’s a map of LA. I stand straight like an angel, with a halo.”

Alongside the video, which you can watch below, Del Rey said, “Album out later later… Single out soonish. Have a good fourth x.”

Along with the teaser, she’s shared the artwork for the new album. The caption alongside the artwork says “TBD”, which is presumably referring to the album’s release date.

Blue Banisters will follow up Chemtrails Over The Country Club. Chemtrails was released back in March.

Lana Del Rey initially announced the follow up would be Rock Candy Sweet, saying it’d be released in June.

She later changed the title to Blue Banisters and pushed the release back a month.

We already have the title track for the album. It came in a surprise-drop of three singles back in May.
