Wheatus Announce 2025 Acoustic Australian Tour

Wheatus have shared the full details of their Dirtbags Across Australia national tour, which will see the American pop-rock band stripping back to an acoustic duo – bandleader and founding member Brendan B. Brown and his wife, backing vocalist Gabrielle Sterbenz. The pair will be joined by Pricey, AKA former Chats guitarist Josh Price, for all 14 dates of the tour. The full list of tour dates, as well as ticketing information, can be found below.

Brown, Sterbenz and Price will kick off Dirtbags Across Australia in Adelaide before heading to Western Australia for three dates with Moore River singer-songwriter Savannah Solomon. The tour then returns to the east coast, where they will be joined by Brisbane roots duo Salt & Steel for the remainder of the run. In Coffs Harbour and Tuncurry, the touring party will expand to include mid-north coast alt-country act Then Jolene, while Melbourne-based teenage singer-songwriter Aimee Isobel opens the tour’s show at the Thornbury Theatre.

Wheatus – ‘Leroy’

The January 2025 tour marks Brown’s third return to Australia in recent times. This year saw the Wheatus frontman undertake a solo tour alongside Everclear frontman Art Alexakis, while the full band toured the country as part of the ill-fated Pandemonium Festival in April.
