Hellbound II Lineup: Parkway Drive, Thy Art Is Murder + MORE

All aboard metalheads – the full lineup for Hellbound II has officially dropped anchor, and somehow it’s gone even harder than the already-infamous maiden voyage, stacking some of the hugest names in Aussie metal alongside a swathe of rising stars.

After the first Hellbound cruise sold out in under ten minutes (a record-breaking flex for Choose Your Cruise), the floating metal circus is returning for round two in January 2027, once again transforming the Carnival Splendour into a four-night monument to riffs, breakdowns and extremely questionable sleep schedules.

Headlining the chaos once again will be Byron Bay titans Parkway Drive, returning to reclaim the high seas following their blistering appearance on the inaugural cruise. They’ll be joined by an absolutely stacked top tier of Australian heavy royalty, with The Amity Affliction, GRAMMY-nominated wrecking crew Alpha Wolf, metalcore pioneers I Killed the Prom Queen, and deathcore heavyweights Thy Art Is Murder all locked in for the four-night voyage from January 17–21, 2027.

And that’s just the tip of the spike-covered iceberg. Also boarding are Banks Arcade (NZ), Closure, Dead City Ruins, Down and Out, Elm Street, Future Static, Gravemind, Heavensgate, Hei’An, Major Arcana, Mammal, Maple’s Pet Dinosaur, Mirrors, No Apologies, Ocean Grove, RedHook, Rocky’s Pride & Joy, Starve, plus Taking Back Saturday DJs, with MANOV stepping in as stage host and general agent of chaos.

Bands will play across multiple stages over all four nights, ensuring a constant buffet of heavy music from sunrise hangovers to late-night breakdowns. Alongside the live chaos, organisers have confirmed immersive events, themed nights and curated onboard activities designed specifically for metal fans who like their holidays loud.

For those needing a brief recovery window, Hellbound II will also feature a port call at Tangalooma, offering dolphin feeding, sand tobogganing and snorkelling shipwrecks (because nothing says balance like deathcore followed by island bliss?)
