Periphery are heading back down under, announcing a six-date Australian headline tour for March 2027 with Sydney metalcore crew Inertia along for the ride.
The GRAMMY-nominated progressive metal heavyweights will return to Australia for the first time since appearing at Monolith Festival in 2024, bringing their new album A Pale White Dot to stages across the country.
Periphery – ‘Mr. God’
The tour will kick off at Perth’s Astor Theatre on Monday, 8th March before hitting Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra, wrapping up at Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Wednesday, 17th March.
Periphery’s latest album A Pale White Dot arrives via the band’s own 3DOT Recordings, marking the follow-up to 2023’s Periphery V: Djent Is Not A Genre.
The new record continues a career stretching back to the band’s self-titled 2010 debut, with Periphery earning a GRAMMY Award nomination for Best Metal Performance, landing three consecutive Top 25 debuts on the Billboard 200 and racking up hundreds of millions of streams along the way.
Joining them for all six Australian dates will be Sydney modern metalcore outfit Inertia, who recently tightened their grip on the local heavy scene with the release of debut album, Second Shadow.
Blending modern metalcore with elements of dark pop, soul and emo, the quartet have carved out a sound aimed squarely at fans of bands like Loathe, Spiritbox and Thornhill.
Presale tickets for Periphery’s 2027 Australian tour will be available from 9am local time on Tuesday, 8th September, before general tickets go on sale from 9am local time on Thursday, 10th September via Destroy All Lines.
