Fozzy clearly love Australia – the band will soon be embarking on the trek Down Under as part of the eagerly awaited Steel Panther tour to perform for their Aussie fans for the second time in less than 12 months. Music Feeds caught up with the main man himself, Chris Jericho, to talk shop about the tour and everything else Fozzy.
Of course, the question on everybody’s mind is what it’s like to tour in support of a band as out-of-control as Steel Panther. Jericho has had many experiences on the road with the band and therefore many stories. Jericho explains that, for the most part, the dudes are the same on stage as they are off, and though he keeps his cards close to his chest hedoes pull some personal stories involving Steel Panther frontman Michael Starr out of the bag.
Having previously chatted with guitarist Rich Ward, we were well aware of the positive, charming energy that radiates from Fozzy. As Jericho explains, being in the band is just as much fun as everyone expects it would be. We speak about watching the band’s fan base in Australia grow right before their eyes, as well as the possibility of a new Fozzy record and when it’s going to arrive.
