PREMIERE: Forces & Fury Share Stunning Video For ‘My Affliction’

Forces & Fury have unveiled stunning new visuals to accompany their latest single ‘My Affliction’, a dark, brooding track that builds steadily right up until the end.

The song is centred around the theme of a love gone bad. Despite containing these deeply personal lyrics, the featuring vocalist, Hunter Adams says she formed a personal attachment to the song in time.

“Hunter embraced the song in such a short amount of time, and added her own beautiful fragility to it,” said Forces & Fury.

“I went through a very intense and complex breakup a year ago and, as it often is with breakups, there were a lot of things that went unsaid. The chorus that Forces & Fury had written guided a lot of the rest of the writing for me,” said Adams.

The video was filmed at the Forces & Fury studio in Sydney and directed by the F&F girls. They say they wanted to, “translate the message of the track in a natural and emphatic way.”

“Like all our videos, we wanted to do something that was simple but also visually beautiful to watch,” say the band.

“Unlike our previous clips, we decided to get a little more involved in the action and add ourselves performing the song while playing with light and dark, to really bring out the moody nature of ‘My Affliction’.”

The clip is full of amazing shots backed by creative lighting and the result is beautiful, moody, and cinematic visuals.

‘My Affliction’ is the third single from Forces & Fury this year. Prior to ‘My Affliction’, F&F released ‘Watch It Burn’ and ‘Stormy Weather’.
