It’s hard to imagine a band capable of gathering the support of not just the local industry, but the international one, taking to the stages of Glastonbury festival and touring from city to city, country to country all before the release of their first album. But homegrown heroes Jagwar Ma have done it. With their debut album Howlin only recently released, we caught up with main man Gab Winterfield to get to the bottom of their astounding success.
Talking to Music Feeds from Perth, Gab was hitting some much needed downtime before things once again got crazy during their appearance at this year’s Splendour In The Grass. On either side of their Splendour slot, the band have their own run of headlining Australian tour dates, so fans are understandably excited for this. We chat to Gab about what we can expect from the shows as well as a little about what it’s like to be already taking over the world so soon in your career.
