The Soundwave Festival 2015 lineup finally arrived this morning, delighting heavy music lovers nationwide. The long-awaited lineup will be split over two days this February and March, with Faith No More, Slipknot, Soundgarden, Incubus, Slash, and Marilyn Manson topping the bill.
Best of all, there’s still more to come. Soundwave promoter AJ Maddah confirmed to fans earlier today that the massive initial announcement comprises “most” of the “80 to 90” bands set for 2015, but that “around 14 bands” will be revealed as part of a forthcoming second announcement.
Candidates for the second announcement even came to the fore as the initial reveal was being made. A number of bands (see below) were initially named as part of the lineup by several outlets, though they did not actually appear on any of Soundwave’s official artwork or online channels.
If you’ve been following our rumours page, you’ll know that there’s still plenty of bands who looked poised to make a Soundwave 2015 appearance, but didn’t appear on this morning’s announcement. So without further ado, here are your safest bets for the second Soundwave 2015 lineup.
