The second instalment of the Deni Blues & Roots Festival is back in a big way in 2014 and the event, which will be once again be taking place at Deniliquin in southern NSW over the Easter long weekend, already boasts a stellar lineup of musical legends. Music Feeds is giving one lucky winner plus three of their friends the chance to bag weekend camping passes to the award winning event, valued at $279 each.
To recap the impressive lineup one more time, the formidable Elvis Costello and The Imposters are set to headline the jam-packed bill, along with the legendary Boz Scaggs. Showcasing his 15th studio release will be Steve Earle and The Dukes, and the genre transcending Michael Franti will be joined by his band Spearhead for what is sure to be a highly spiritual experience.
Other top-tier international talents include the Grammy-winning John Mayer, blues sensation Gary Clark Jr., indie folk favourites Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and the superbly psychedelic Dr John & The Nite Trippers. Peter McWhirter and Jackson Firebird are but two examples of the high standard of local talent doing the rounds.
