Alex Dyson Has Announced His Political Policies Via Interpretive Dance

Written by Jackson Langford on May 5, 2019

Everyone’s favourite rat dog Alex Dyson is legitimately gearing up for the federal election in the coming weeks as he is running as an independent for the seat of Wannon. Now, he’s shown us what exactly some of his key policies are…through a stunning, interpretive dance.

Soundtracked by Alice Ivy’s ‘Charlie’, taken from her 2018 album I’m Dreaming, Dyson moves in ways only he knows how while his policies are outlined under him. They include:

  • “Forward thinking environmental policies”
  • “Investment in renewable energy”
  • “Upgraded transport options”
  • “Greater focus on mental health”
  • “Independent from the Canberra bubble”

While it might have been easy to pass Dyson’s political campaign off as a joke, and this hysterical video doesn’t help, he is very much serious and has got some rock solid policies behind him.

On top of his career change into politics, the former Triple J breakfast host has made his 2019 all about new ventures. He’s has started a podcast with fellow ex-triple j host Kyran Wheatley, and also co-owns a Melbourne bar with him as well.

Watch the glorious video below.
