Just this morning Allday released his new song, ‘Restless’ with pals, The Veronicas. Now he’s taken them along to the triple j studios to smash out an amazing cover of Joni Mitchell’s ‘Big Yellow Taxi’ for Like a Version.
Allday took an all star Aussie cast in for yet another brilliant 2019 Like A Version. You’ve got Japanese Wallpaper on the keys, then Georgia Smith helping the Veronicas out with the harmonies which bring out all the beauty of the original. Then you throw in Allday’s rapping in between and it’s just … *chef’s kiss*.
They also performed their brand new single ‘Restless’ — still with their crew of Aussie musos, so there’s double the harmonies.
Allday is playing Splendour in the Grass this year with ‘friends’ (Veronicas pls), he’s just been announced on the Spilt Milk Festival lineup and his new album, Starry Night Over The Phone is out July 12.
