Harlem’s soulful dance producer Austin Millz will be in Australia for the first time in January 2024. He’s on the lineup for the Coastal Jam festival on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula – alongside the likes of Lime Cordiale, DICE and Ben Gerrans – and Millz has now announced a couple of headline shows.
The New Yorker producer’s tour begins at Manning Bar in Sydney on Wednesday, 10th January. Millz will take over Max Watt’s in the Melbourne CBD the following night (Thursday, 11th) before wrapping up at Coastal Jam, which is happening on Saturday, 13th January at Mornington’s Rosebud Village Green.

Millz’s debut Australian tour is presented by the Untitled Group and UNO. The former are behind the major festivals Beyond The Valley, Pitch Music & Arts, Wildlands, Grapevine Gathering and Ability Fest. Untitled recently announced the return of the Untitled Day Party, which is happening at Melbourne’s Timber Yard in December and is set to feature Young Marco.
Millz has been making a name for himself over the last half a dozen years. He’s put out a string of singles and EPs, the latest being the six-track Breathwork, which came out through Ultra Records in June 2023. In August, Millz made his Boiler Room debut, helming the decks at NYC venue 99 Scott Ave. The corresponding YouTube video has gained more than three hundred thousand views.
