Global phenom Bingo Loco will return to Australia from July for their fourth jaunt around the country this year with their largest venues to date. The self-described “bingo rave” takes the traditional game and combines it with music, dance-offs, confetti showers, live comedy and prizes ranging from Bali trips to less desirable sacks of coal.

“People want to dance and be stupid but they also want comedy, competitions, prizes and theatrics” says co-founder William Meara of the event. “I don’t know of any other event where thousands of people will be singing their hearts out to Disney anthems, falling out of their chairs with laughter, raving to Sandstorm as well as competing for awesome (and awful) prizes, all while playing Bingo”
This time around, former triple j host and one-time political candidate/interpretive dance champ Alex Dyson is in for the ride. That’s correct, Rat Dog himself will be hosting festivities throughout the event’s run.
This year, the event is teaming up with Make-A-Wish Australia, with proceeds from your partying going towards helping create extraordinary experiences for kids with critical illnesses.
