Bright Eyes Australia 2011 – Harvest Sideshows Officially Announced

Bright Eyes will be doing two sideshows while they’re out here for the Harvest Festival line-up in November. The Nebraskan indie-rock-folk band will be bringing their alt-pop inspired sounds to both Sydney and Brisbane.

The Brisbane show is a new announcement, while the Sydney show was confirmed earlier in the week. Perth and Adelaide are unlikely to get a sideshow, according to promoter AJ Maddah.

Australian Bright Eyes appearances will feature select material from previous albums as well as songs from the seventh Bright Eyes album The People’s Key, released in early 2011. The eagerly awaited follow-up to 2007’s acclaimed Cassadaga LP, the new album is assured and accomplished, artfully arranged and filled with the engaging and mesmeric songwriting for which Conor Oberst is renowned.
