B*Witched Announce 2017 Aussie Reunion Tour With Lineup Of ’90s Pop Faves

UPDATE 19/09/16: B*Witched have expanded their upcoming Australian tour, adding a second Sydney show and a Newcastle date. Catch updated tour details, below.

ORIGINAL STORY: Bust out your butterfly clips and bumbags because one of the best bi-products of the nineties girl group explosion are getting back together and coming down under.

That’s right. Move over Guns n’ Roses, because there’s an even more exciting nineties band reunion tour happening in February 2017: Irish girl group B*Witched.

The C’est La Vie hitmakers – whose Smash Hits posters probably used to hang on your bedroom wall between Spice Girls and All Saints – will be coming to our shores to dish up a hot steaming slice of nineties nostalgia pie next Feb. And they won’t be coming alone.

Joining Edele, Keavy, Lindsay and Sinéad will be a nostalgia torpedo of nineties pop faves, including English girl group Atomic Kitten (you may remember them from such hits as Whole Again and The Tide Is High), boyband East 17 (who topped the Aussie charts back in ’92 with It’s Alright) and… wait for it… S Club 3!

You read that right. 3/7ths of nineties co-ed pop juggernaut S Club 7 will also be part of this travelling musical time capsule, performing all of the group’s greatest hits including Bring It All Back, Don’t Stop Movin, Two in a Million and of course S Club Party.

Naturally you must be asking yourselves which members of the band are still keeping the S Club Party rolling in 2017, and the answer to that question is Jo, Tina and Bradley.

And as fans will know, Jo was the Mel C of S Club, and sang lead on pretty much all of their songs, so as long as she’s involved we’re sure they’ll still bring the house down.

Tickets for this insanely hit-packed tour – which is bound to be as fun as your Year 5 school disco except with booze – go on sale from 12pm this Thursday, 1st September, with a pre-sale kicking off from 2pm Tuesday 30th August and running til 5pm Wednesday, 31st August.

And the tour’s only hitting modest venues in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Hobart, Gold Coast and Brisbane so you’d better act fast, because if you miss out, you’ll only have yourself to blame.

Don’t even try to blame it on the weatherman.

UPDATE 06/09/16: A new Melbourne show has been added after the first sold-out.
