Such a special event can’t be going down in just any old venue, either. The shows will be taking place in pristine environments blending music with mother nature including Sandstone Point, Bribie Island Byron Bay’s incredible Red Devil Park.
Joining Rudd and The Cat Empire will be a slew of support acts, each a headliner in their own right. Axe-man Harts, Ocean Alley, and their psychedelic reggae sensibilities as well as the acoustic wonderment of Sahara Beck.
Mainstays of the Australian music scene, The Cat Empire are arguably in their finest form ever. This year they dropped their latest album Rising With The Sun, and their new dates with Rudd fall on the tail even of their mental 100-date national tour. Known magician Rudd is on a similar hot streak. The multi-instrumentalist set the charts ablaze with his current single Follow The Sun.
All of the aforementioned artists are known for their abilities to perfectly soundtrack summer. So we imagine come January you’ll be chomping at the bit to experience their vibes in a live setting. Catch all the details below.
UPDATE 07/11/16: The Cat Empire and Xavier Rudd have added an extra show to their joint Aussie tour, taking place on Sunday, 12th February in Wollongong with Harts, Ocean Alley & Sahara Beck. Details below.
