Cat Janice, ‘Dance You Outta My Head’ Viral Tiktok Singer Dies At 31

American singer Cat Janice, who became very popular after releasing her last viral Tiktok song “Dance You Outta My Head,” died on Wednesday, 28th February. She was only 31 years old. The reason for her death was not stated, but the singer has likely died from cancer, as she has been battling with sarcoma, a rare bone cancer since March 2022.

Her family shared the sad news on her Instagram account on Wednesday, Feb. 28. They said she passed away this morning at her childhood home, surrounded by her family.

Cat Janice’s family announced her death via an Instagram post from her account by saying .“This morning, from her childhood home and surrounded by her loving family, Catherine peacefully entered the light and love of her heavenly creator.”

They further said, “We are eternally thankful for the outpouring of love that Catherine and our family have received over the past few months. Cat saw her music go places she never expected and rests in the peace of knowing that she will continue to provide for her son through her music. This would not have been possible without all of you.”

Even though Cat was fighting a rare type of cancer called sarcoma, she reached great success in her music career. She was very happy when she found out her song made it to the Billboard Charts Top 40 list and when she heard it on the radio for the first time. Many people on TikTok also used her song in their videos, which made the song viral all over the internet.

Cat Janice first found out she had cancer in March 2022 when she felt a lump in her neck. Although doctors said she was cancer-free in July of the same year, the disease came back, and she had to have more treatment, like chemotherapy.

Cat Janice will be remembered for her music and her bravery in fighting cancer. She inspired many people with her talent and strength. Her music and the people she touched will keep her memory alive.
