Cloud Control Release New Single ‘Scar’, Announce Tour Supports

Psych rockers Cloud Control have just dropped Scar, the second single from their highly anticipated sophomore effort Dream Cave, and it’s shaping up to be as much of a corker as their excellent full-length debut, 2011’s Bliss Release.

Like first single Dojo Rising, the new track sees the quartet moving in a more uplifting direction. Scar is a sun-drenched piece of ’90s-esque pop. But don’t worry – this is still Cloud Control and frontman Alister Wright keeps the feels set to melancholy, opening the track with “I’ve got a lump in my throat from letting you in my mind”.

Cloud Control, who are originally from the Blue Mountains but are now based in London, have recently headed home to play Splendour In The Grass festival, following up with a lengthy Australian tour in August and September. Today they’ve announced a new date on the tour, as well as dropping the exceedingly good news that Palms and Gang Of Youths will supporting them for all shows.
