Cypress Hill Want To Make Their ‘Simpsons’ Symphony Orchestra Collab Happen IRL

UPDATE: Cypress Hill & London Symphony Orchestra In Talks To Make ‘Simpsons’ Collab Happen IRL

ORIGINAL STORY: “Oh, this is just great. First Homer Simpson wrecks my pig, then Cypress Hill steals my orchestra, and now Sonic Youth’s in my cooler. Get out of there!” – Peter Frampton, 1996.

In that ep, a then-relevant Cypress Hill ended up delivering an impromptu collab on their hit Insane In The Membrane with the London Symphony Orchestra (who’d rocked up at the behest of Peter Frampton, but the rap troupe didn’t know that and figured they must have summoned them whilst high). Anyway, as you may recall, Marge was a big fan of their performance.

And so, it seems, were Cypress Hill themselves. Because twenty-one years later they’ve used the magical medium of Twitter to holler at the LSO and try to make the collab happen IRL.

And though they mostly know classical, but it looks like they could give it a shot:

God bless the internet. Splendour In The Grass 2018 anyone?
