With a new album in tow, London’s Daughter have just announced a limited run of Australian shows in April.
Visiting Sydney and Melbourne only, this is the first time the trio have been back to Australia since they first toured here two years ago in support of their debut album If You Leave.
The follow up, Not To Disappear is already looking to live up to the expectations set by their critically acclaimed debut. Praised for its ruminative and melancholy character, the band’s sophomore album sees them at their most bold an direct, the result being a more compelling and assertive record than their first.
The album is currently triple j’s Feature Album of the Week and the short tour is sure to satisfy their eager Aussie fans. And while it’s hardly a huge tour, something tells me we’ll be seeing these three again sometime very soon.
The full tour details are below, but in the meantime check out the video for Do The Right Thing here.
