Dave Grohl revealed he’s filled to the brim with hectic stories last year. Bored of the pandemic, he created an Instagram page, specifically to share some of those stories.
On Dave’s True Stories, Grohl said at the time, “I’m currently looking for work. So I thought I’d pass the time by writing true stories that will make people smile.”
Now, he’s announced he’s just going to go all in on it. He’s planning to tell his stories the traditional way, by publishing his own book.
It’s titled Dave Grohl: The Storyteller and will be released Tuesday, 5th October.
Announcing the book via Instagram, Dave wrote, “A collection of memories of a life lived loud.
“From my early days growing up in the suburbs of Washington, DC, to hitting the road at the age of 18, and all the music that followed, I can now share these adventures with the world, as seen and heard from behind the microphone.
“Turn it up!”
Grohl and co shared a snippet from the book, both in the Instagram post and in a Youtube video, down below.
