If you somehow survived the chokehold that ‘Hide Away’, ‘Sit Still, Look Pretty’ and ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ had on the internet in the mid-2010s… first of all, congrats.
Second of all: Daya is officially heading back to Australia for her debut headline tour, and she’s bringing one of Australia’s rising pop voices along for the ride.
STREAM: Daya – ‘Til Every Petal Drops Full Album
Fresh off her huge local resurgence via ‘Dreamin’’ with Australian dance heavyweight Dom Dolla, ARIA and GRAMMY-winning pop star Daya has announced that Australian singer-songwriter Darcie Haven will join her across all dates of the upcoming ‘Til Every Petal Drops Australian Tour this July and August.
Daya’s relationship with Australian audiences has quietly become stronger than ever in recent years. While plenty still remember her breakout era; when ‘Hide Away’ launched her into global stardom at just 16 before debut album Sit Still, Look Pretty landed not long after – a whole new wave of listeners found their way to her through electronic collaborations and more emotionally expansive recent material.
Her collaboration with The Chainsmokers, ‘Don’t Let Me Down’, became one of the defining pop records of its era, earning Diamond certification and a GRAMMY before Daya had even turned 20.
Since then she’s continued evolving far beyond pop’s neat little boxes – linking with producers including Gryffin, RL Grime, Illenium, Anyma, and contributing music to cultural juggernauts like 13 Reasons Why.
Now she’s bringing that next chapter to Aussie stages.
The tour will showcase material from sophomore album ‘Til Every Petal Drops – her first major album cycle in nearly a decade – with fans able to expect a live show that leans equally into emotional vulnerability and euphoric pop release.
And joining her each night will be Darcie Haven, one of Australia’s most exciting emerging singer-songwriters, adding some local flavour to what’s shaping up to be a very stacked run of intimate rooms.
