Down To Earth Bushfire Relief Concert To Be Live-Streamed

The huge ‘Down To Earth’ bushfire relief concert happening later this month at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl will be live-streamed on YouTube.

The concert is sporting a huge lineup with Gang Of Youths, Angus & Julia Stone, Thelma Plum, Tash Sultana, Jack River, Briggs and Ruby Fields. It will also be MC’d by triple j‘s Bridget Hustwaite.

‘Down To Earth – A Fire and Climate Relief Concert’ will be going down from 2:30PM AEDT on Wednesday, 26th February at Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

In a group statement released earlier this year, the artists said “collectively, our hearts go out to the families who have lost loved ones, the firies who have put their lives on the line and continue to, and the communities across Australia suffering.”

“We hope to give you the greatest thing we can in this time of great need – our voices and our songs.”

The event is, unsurprisingly, sold out. However, profits raised from the event like Red Cross and WIRES, as well as organisations focused on tackling long term climate change, like Firesticks and Emergency Leaders for Climate Action.
