Dune Rats Return With New Banger ‘Too Tough Terry’

Just months after the release of their third album, Dune Rats have returned with another fresh cut in ‘Too Tough Terry’.

The song, which was apparently written quickly by the band as a way to get a laugh out of one another, is the first single they’ve released since they dropped third album, Hurry Up and Wait.

The video, which is a bloody trip in and of itself, was made in collaboration with 23-year-old animator Reid McManus, who did the video as part of his honours program at the University of Newcastle.

“Reid worked on this clip for around 6 months and we were super blown away,” the band said of the video.

“It really made the song come to life by a mile and solidified Terry as a character in itself. We didn’t change the clip at all after we first saw it. It was just perfect. Everything we’ve done with Reid since to follow the release is also super exciting and just cracks us up.”

The video for the track premieres on Dune Rats’ YouTube channel at 5:30pm AEDT. Watch out for the premiere below.
