DZ Deathrays Add More Dates To National Tour

Tickets to three shows of Brisbane rockers DZ Deathrays‘ impending Get Rich Or Drunk Tryin’ Tour have already sold out and so to keep up with demand, the Brisbane thrashers have added four more shows, including two under 18s gigs.

Both previously announced February shows at Melbourne’s Northcote Social Club have sold out and so two more stops at the venue have been added. Punters can now catch DZ Deathrays in Melbourne
on Thursday 26th February as well as an under 18s daytime show on Saturday 28th February.

Their hometown show at Brisbane’s Brightside on Friday 13th March has also sold out and so the duo will play an under 18s daytime show on Sunday 15th March at Music Industry College and a second over 18s show at the Brightside on the same day.

Hockey Dad will not be appearing at these new Brisbane shows and instead support will come from Bass Drum of Death and The Ron Swansons. The Get Rich Or Drunk Tryin’ Tour will be some of DZ Deathrays’ final Black Rat album shows, an album that nabbed them an ARIA Award for Best Heavy/Hard Rock Release.

DZ Deathrays appeared at Falls Festival recently where they whipped out an unexpected and epic cover of Finnish DJ Darude’s trance anthem Sandstorm. No word yet on whether they’ll bring that one out on their national tour.
